Game Changer: Strategies and Best Practices for Employee Recruitment in the 21st Century

Employee retention and recruitment is a hot topic these days! The labor shortage has impacted all industries. Are you feeling the pinch in your firm? Grab your HR co-workers, Principals and Project Managers and join SMPS Sacramento for lunch and an interactive discussion on recruitment and retention strategies with SMPS member and Professional Career Coach, Maisha Christian.

Session Description:
COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on an already tight work force for all categories of workers (task, knowledge, power and kiosk). But the pandemic is the most-recent cause to impact hiring and employment. Recruitment efforts of the past have isolated potential-employees from hiring firms and created a hiring bottleneck that continues to worsen. In this presentation, speaker Maisha Christian shares how we got here and offers game-changing ideas and strategies to help employers attract, locate and retain talent.

During this session attendees will learn:
•    The economic priorities that have influenced work and recruitment throughout history
•    The cost and impact of replacing an employee
•    How engagement and motivation drive retention
•    Recruiting challenges and solutions
