Nick Baldi | Greater Sacramento Vice President of Business Development.Nick Baldi serves as the Vice President of Business Development for the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. In his role, Nick is responsible for managing and directing the development of leads, proposals and site visits with prospective companies both locally and globally in order to increase business investment and job creation through Greater Sacramento. In this position, Nick builds and maintains relationships with business and community leaders, commercial real estate professionals, site selection consultants and strategic partners to ensure each client receives a seamless experience while relocating to or expanding into the region. Nick has expertise working with both small and local companies as well as with large international corporations to assist them with their facility planning needs. Several notable companies Nick has worked with include Amazon, Staples, Bimbo Bakeries, Tesla Energy, Coca-Cola and DBI Beverage. A native of the Sacramento region and a father to three boys, Nick and his wife can often be found on their next Northern Californian adventure, and sneaking to a craft brewery in-between them. |

Michael Ault | Downtown Sacramento Partnership Executive Director. Michael Ault has dedicated his career to the revitalization of Sacramento’s urban core. Through the course of his 20+ year career as Executive Director of Downtown Sacramento Partnership, the property-based improvement district (PBID) that serves as the collective voice for nearly 200 downtown property owners, more than 5,000 businesses and 100,000 employees within the 66-block urban center of downtown Sacramento, Ault has advocated tirelessly for policies and projects that enhance downtown's environment. As executive director, downtown has seen more than $3.2 billion in private and public investment, including catalytic development projects like Golden 1 Center, Downtown Commons, Kaiser Permanente medical offices, Convention Center expansion, K Street revitalization, and more. Ault’s dedication to the Downtown Partnership and downtown Sacramento continues to drive the heart of the city as a destination for business, investment, and entertainment. |

Karlo Felix | City of Sacramento, Community Development Department Senior Planner. Karlo Felix is a Senior Planner with the City of Sacramento’s Community Development Department. He joined the City in 2018 and supervises the review of development applications within the City’s Central Area; a region that includes the River District, the Railyards, Downtown, Midtown, East Sacramento, and Campus Commons. Karlo has over 15 years of experience in both the private and public sectors with work focused on current, long range, and environmental planning. Prior to joining the City of Sacramento, Karlo was with the City of Napa where he led Napa’s development review section. He is a member of the American Planning Association and earned a Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. |
