Hello SMPS Members and Supporters!

Can you believe it??! It’s already mid-July. I don’t know about you, but my year has flown by! There’s much to be thankful for, and I for one, am grateful to be a part of SMPS Sacramento and all that our chapter has to offer.

ANNUAL SURVEY: HOW CAN WE IMPROVE?

Thank you for being a member of the SMPS Sacramento community! Your health and safety continue to be our top priorities as we plan future programs that are relevant to your interests. We value your feedback, so please share your thoughts with us in our five-minute survey. Members and non-members are welcome to participate. Feedback is strictly anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself by entering our Survey Participant Drawing. One member participant will be chosen at random to receive a $25 Amazon gift card. We appreciate your candid response in advance and look forward to serving you in 2022/2023.

deadline is extended to July 15th | Sacramento Chapter Awards - Call For Marketer of the Year and Rising Star Awards Nominations

Are you a “red hot” Marketer, or do you know one? Are you newer to AEC Marketing but already burning it up, or do you know somebody who is? We are calling for nominations for the Sacramento Marketer-of-the-Year and the Sacramento Rising Star Awards. The Nominations are open to all Sacramento SMPS members to nominate themselves or other deserving marketers. Nominations are due July 12th, 2022. Submission requirements are listed on the nomination forms. Both nomination forms are linked here to download. Email completed forms to Angela Tombolini at [email protected]

Join us for a webinar rewind and boost your BD skills!
How can you improve your interpersonal skills and develop strategies to win more work your firm needs to hit growth targets? Join our presenter Wally Hise as he shares insights into three concepts that all business developers and marketers should master.

July 21st: SMPS Backpack Drive Happy Hour
The Sacramento Children’s Home (SCH) is having its Annual Fill-a-Backpack Drive now through the end of August and SMPS wants to help!
The Special Events Committee will be hosting a happy hour to collect in-person donations on July 21st at 4:30 pm.

August 24th: SMPS Awards and Year-End Party
Please mark your calendar and plan to join us on Wednesday, August 24th, at Sutter Health Park, home of the Sacramento River Cats. Our Annual Year-End Meeting and Awards Ceremony will begin at 5:00, followed by networking and celebrating while watching the River Cats win. Food and beverages will be provided.

FUTURE EVENTS: COMING TO AN OFFICE NEAR YOU!

Is your firm interested in free exposure for your office? Do you have a space that can fit 50-60 people for a networking/educational event? Does it have indoor and/or outdoor space? SMPS Sacramento would love to talk to you! We are currently in search of locations to host future events.
